All Star Boxing Academy of Texas is a Non – Profit Organization that have seen the opportunities that young athletes can obtain. However, they also recognized the obstacles that youth in this area often face that prohibit them from reaching their highest potential. With this, The All Star Boxing Academy of Houston TX.  hopes to fill that void and assist young athletes to excel in all aspects of life.

Beginners Boxing Class

 

If you have limited experience or have never put on a pair of gloves, this class is for you. Learn basic boxing skills which will include proper footwork, how to defend yourself and how to properly throw a hard punch. This class is full of drills that teach technique, no sparring, and good for ages 8 and up.

 

Open Gym All Levels

Switch stations every round while you work your way through the stations. This is not your normal workout, as you learn to work the heavy bag, double end bag, uppercut bag and speed bag, while getting a great cardio workout.

Advanced Boxing Class

 

If you understand the fundamentals of boxing and are looking to get in the ring for sparring sessions with other boxers, this is the class for you. The first half of the class is focused on technique and learning the advanced skills of boxing such as cutting angles, punch combinations and boxing strategy.

Training

Group training will require you to adapt your schedule to make every predetermined class on time, while one-on-one coaches can adapt to your schedule a bit more easily. It is all about finding out what is right for you and when.

Strength Training

It can also incorporate a variety of training techniques such as bodyweight exercises, isometrics, and plyometrics.

Nutrition

Planning diets refers to determining what usual nutrient intake should be. Regardless of whether one is planning diets for individuals or groups, the goal is to have diets that are nutritionally adequate, or conversely, to ensure that the probability of nutrient inadequacy or excess is acceptably low.
