Andre Phillips is a community and federal mediator whose role is to resolve disputes within the Washington DC area. Prior to becoming a mediator, he served in several union advocacy positions for more than a decade. As a union advocate, he protected the rights of employees under applicable laws as well as negotiated working conditions/compensation for nearly 50 labor organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

 

Andre was also formerly employed at the DC Department of Youth and Rehabilitation

Service (DYRS), for 15 years. While at DYRS he specialized in positive youth

development for the at-risk population who are in the deepest end of the juvenile justice system (court involved).

 

Additionally, in his free time Andre volunteers as a USA Boxing Coach in his community and has served on several boards of organizations to include nonprofits.
